Teaching yoga is an absolute joy and a privilege, I feel blessed to be in a position to share my interpretations of these ancient teachings passed down through generations.

Yoga was a hobby and a passion for me for many years, and the urge to learn more led me to an intensive month long Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India in 2019.  The immersive experience was one that I will cherish forever, I was physically and mentally challenged in a way that I had never been before and learned so very much during that month, making memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

The intention when embarking on this 200hr YTT was to deepen my own practice, but my love for Yoga led me to host classes on a regular weekly basis.  I feel so at home on the mat sharing with a group of like-minded souls.

I have since completed an additional Diploma in Teaching Hatha Yoga with The British School of Yoga and am in the process of furthering my skillset in undertaking a qualification in Anatomy and Physiology, Holistic Massage, and an Astrology Diploma to further my knowledge and add more and more value to each class and session.

My classes often take inspiration from different holistic practices; exploring chakras and essential oils that fit the sequences and asanas that we're focusing on that week, drawing from nature, and using seasonal shifts to inspire movement and meditation. My absolute favourite focus in class is the current astrological 'happenings'. To be able to take sequencing and theme inspiration from what's going on in the solar system at that very moment grounds us into the present, allows us to really truly take a beat to understand how we're feeling, and even find solace in the fact that others are feeling that way too.

Astrology provides a medium for understanding quite how connected we are with the universe and each other; the planets have an effect on us, and this experience may differ from person to person, but these very real shifts in universal energy are felt by most if not all of us - whether consciously or subconsciously.  Yoga is a beautiful tool to help us process and express these energetic shifts.
I'm by no means an Astrologer but am deeply fascinated by this intricate subject.  Just like Yoga, it seems that the more you learn, the broader the subject becomes!  There's always more to learn and I love the journey.

It's for all of the reasons above and more, that I choose this focus for all classes and workshops, finding this beautiful meeting point of Yoga + Astrology.
